Epoxy inside your home

A seamless, glossy floor for living rooms, kitchens & more

More Austin homeowners are choosing metallic epoxy for their main floors. It’s one continuous surface with no grout lines or seams, it’s waterproof, pet-friendly, and easy to mop — and every floor comes out one of a kind.

  • Old flooring removed. Carpet, tile, vinyl plank, or glued wood comes up and the slab is ground smooth.
  • Baseboards off and back on so the epoxy runs clean to every wall.
  • Pick your colors. Charcoal and white, grays, warm neutrals, or something bold — we’ll show you samples.
  • Back home fast. Walk on it in about 24 hours; furniture goes back in 2–3 days.

Works on ground-floor concrete slabs, which most Austin homes have. Upstairs wood floors need a special underlayment and are priced after a visit.

The right system for every floor

Flake Garage Floors

Colored chips broadcast into the base coat, then sealed clear.

The most popular garage finish: it hides dirt and tire marks, isn’t slippery when wet, and stands up to hot tires and dropped tools.

Metallic Epoxy

A swirled, marble-like finish with deep shine.

Great for living areas, hallways, bars, and showrooms — every floor is one of a kind.

Solid Color

One clean color with a clear top coat.

A simple, bright, easy-to-clean floor for shops, gyms, and laundry rooms.

Patios & Porches

Outdoor coatings with a UV-resistant top coat.

Won’t yellow in the Texas sun, and cleans up with a hose.

Crack & Stain Repair

Cracks and chips filled, oil stains treated first.

Coating over a bad slab just shows the problems — fixing them first is what makes it last.

Old Coating Removal

Peeling paint or old epoxy ground off down to bare concrete.

New epoxy only bonds to clean, open concrete.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Can I put epoxy inside my house?

Yes — on ground-floor concrete slabs, which most Austin homes have. Living rooms, kitchens, hallways, bathrooms, and laundry rooms are all great spots. Metallic epoxy is the most popular choice indoors.

Can epoxy go over my tile or vinyl plank?

No — for a floor that lasts, the old flooring comes up first and the slab is ground clean. Removal is priced right on the quote form: carpet $0.75–$1.25, vinyl plank $1.25–$2.00, and tile $2.50–$4.00 per square foot.

Is an epoxy floor cold or slippery inside?

It feels like any hard floor, similar to tile. A fine anti-slip additive can be mixed into the top coat for kitchens, bathrooms, and homes with pets or kids.

How long will I be out of those rooms?

A typical living area takes 2–4 days from tear-out to top coat. You can walk on it about 24 hours after the last coat and move furniture back in 2–3 days.

How much does epoxy cost in Austin?

Solid color runs $3.50–$5.00 per square foot, flake $4.50–$6.50, and metallic $7.50–$11.00. A typical two-car garage (about 450 sq ft) in flake is about $2,025–$2,925.

How long until I can use the floor?

Most floors can be walked on in about 24 hours and driven on in 3–5 days.

Will hot tires peel it up?

Not when the concrete is diamond-ground first and a quality base coat is used — that’s why grinding is included in every price.

Is flake epoxy slippery?

No. The flakes add texture, so it’s less slippery than bare concrete when wet.

Can I buy the epoxy kit myself and just pay for labor?

Yes. On the quote form, answer “Yes — I have the materials” and the material cost comes off automatically. Store-bought kits are thinner than pro systems, so we’ll tell you honestly if yours isn’t a good match for your floor.
